Anatase TiO2 nanoparticles are synthesized with Ti(SO4)2 as titanium source and stronger ammonia water as precipitant using the hydrothernal method.The samples are characterized by XRD,SEM and TEM.The results showed that the change of size of anatase TiO2 particles is not obvious with increase of the reaction time when stronger ammonia water is not joined Ti(SO4)2 solution.Anatase TiO2 particles become small markedly under the same conditions when stronger ammonia water is joined Ti(SO4)2 solution.Anatase TiO2 particles of about 20 nm are obtained with pH=9.0 at 240℃for 48.0 h by the hydrothernal method.The samples are characterized with UV-VIS.The decrease of TiO2 particles is propitious to the blue shift of the absorption peak of TiO2.
