The surface defects of cold rolled Ti-IF steel sheet was studied.According to the analysis of morphology of defect area and inclusions compositions with SEM/EDS,a lot of alumina,aluminosilicate,silica and magnesia-alumina spinel in defect parts were found.Besides,the rolling simulation test of the sample from first-slab which has more inclusions was carried out.The results of the test further confirmed the presence of these kinds of inclusions mainly cause the surface defects of the cold rolled sheet of Ti-IF steel.
