HP295 hot rolled plate is one of the major materials used for the Liquid Petrol Gas(LPG) steel cylinder of automobiles. The combined properties of HP295 hot rolled plate was studied based on the analysis of the structure of LPG cylinder used for automobile. Testing results suggested that:the cold drawability and formability of HP295 hot rolled plate are improved by the effective control of silicate inclusions, composite oxide and sulfide in steel.
