The nano-modified latex coatings were prepared through adding nano-TiO2 and nano-SiO2 powder into normal latex coatings and using a special dispersing technology. The testing results show that the nano-powders additive can evidently enhance the weather resistance and scrub resistance of latex coatings. The weather-resisting mechanism and scrub-resisting mechanism of latex coatings were discussed, and so explaining the improving reason of the weather resistance and crab resistance.
