This test has been conducted for the purpose of development of production technology of 60Si2Mn spring steel by converter。The rational deoxidation and alloying process are determined to obtain clean steel and keep total non-metallic inclusions≤3.5 grade,The fatigue resistant property of the trial automobile sheet spring is excellent.The combined properties of the steel are equal to those of the electric furnace steel.
