The experimental study of foaming phenomenon of titaniferous slag during V-Ti-bearing magnetite smelting was conducted using different additions.The results show that a certain amount of additions can restrain TiO2 reduction,decrease the slag viscosity and improve the foaming phenomenon of the slag. Therefore,the foaming height of the experimental slag is similar to that of TiO2 containing blast furnace slag from Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co..
