The research on the proportioning schedule for ceramic tile production was conducted with local cheap raw materials instead of 3 expensive ones originally purchased outside. As a result, a bronze-coloured and iron red proportioning schedule was successfully developed, and the process of high temperature oxidation pretreatment of waste slag at pangang was cancelled. The practice has shown that the product property has reached or overtaken the standard EN-176- 91 and the cost has greatly decreased.
