The Characteristics of austenite grains growth in Ti-N and Ti-Nb-N microalloyed steels welding HAZ have been studied by using of welding thermal simulation under different TP and corresponding holding time condition. Test results indicate that the ability of microalloyed steels to resist growth of austenite grains is related not only to the Ti content but also to the Nb and N content.
