Abstract: The authors have studied the fire point,explosion properties and combustion characteristics of coal blend which contains anthracite with 20%~50% semi-bituminous coal. The results show safely Injection of the coal blend under the existing condition of Pangang blast furnace coal injection system can be realized. It is beneficial to improvement of coal grinding efficiency and combustion properties of pulverized coal; therefore,resulting in the Increase of coal injection rate and decrease of cost of coal injection.
