Abstract: The effects of ultraviolet ray absorption agent CIBA5151 and rutile nanometer titania which were coated with a film of organic or inorganic compound on the properties of paint were compared. In the course, the influences of the addition amount of rutile nanometer titania against the cohesion,flexibility, impact resistance and ageing resistance of the paint was mainly concentrated on. It shows that adding suitable amount of rutile nanometer titania can improve ageing resistance and mechanics properties of paint.
