Abstract: By means of installing the infrared monitored control system at furnace top of 3 # and 4 # blast furnace, the visual photograph was acquired which is important for adjusting the blast furnace operation. It is convenient for monitoring the charge level and gas flow distribution in furnace. The obtained photograph is also useful in guiding the operation of upper stack and blast furnace well and dealing with the special conditions for blast furnace smelting.
