Abstract: Facing the tendency of annual degradation of coking coal quality at Panzhihua Iron and Steel Corp.,a series of tests are conducted in a 200kg coke oven to satisfy the requirements of coke quality for the blast furnace operation with pulverized coal injection. As a result,some measures for the improvement of coke quality have been proposed such as the proper addition of fat coal,rational use of suburban coal and control of blending fineness.
