Abstract: A complete and detailed investigation was made on the coal resources,types and its processing industry in Yunnan,Sichuan and Guizhou Province,particularly in the Pan-Xi Region,and massive data were obtained.According to the special requirements for coke quality for smelting vanadium-bearing titaniferous magnetite in the blast furnace in Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co.and the existing problems faced with the coking coal in the Coal Chemical Company,solutions were proposed accordingly.
