BEHAVIOR OF Al2O3 IN TITANIUM SLAG

摘要: 针对钛渣电炉建成投产初期生产过程中出现的各种现象,结合有关理论知识,分析了Al2O3在钛渣中的行为。认为当钛铁矿中Al2O3含量偏高时会导致高钛渣粘度增加,熔点升高、炉况恶化以及指标变坏,同时还会影响二氧化钛的富集及氯化工序的正常生产。Abstract: The behavior of Al2O3 in titanium slag was discussed by combining the production practice of electric-furnace with the theoretical basis of titanium slag smelting. It is concluded that the relative high Al2O3 content in titaniferous iron ore leads to increasing of the viscosity and the melting-point of high titanium slag, irregularity in furnace operation and technical-and-economic indexes depression. Besides, the relative high Al2O3 content in titaniferous iron ore also has negative influence on the enriching of TiO2 and the operation of chloridizing process.
