MOLD ELECTROMAGNETIC STIRRING TECHNIQUE FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING

摘要: 阐述了连铸结晶器电磁搅拌的冶金功能、存在问题及相应地改进措施。在此基础上,提出了攀钢新建大方坯连铸机应采用结晶器+凝固末端电磁搅拌(M+F-EMS)的复合型搅拌技术、开展结晶器电磁搅拌工艺参数优化研究的建议。Abstract: Metallurgical results of mold electromagnetic stirring(M-EMS) in continuous casting were comprehensively introduced, meanwhile, some problems associated with the application of M-EMS and their countermeasures were also discussed. It is considered that the combination stirring (M+F-EMS) should be employed to newly built bloom continuous caster at PZH Steel, and the mold electromagnetic stirring parameters should be optimized in order to fully realize the advantages of M-EMS.
