Abstract: The laboratory experiments of external desulphurization of hot metal containing vanadium and titanium with injection method were carried out. The desulphurizing rate, desulphurizer consumption and temperature drop of the hot metal using the lime,calcium carbide and magnesium-base composite desulphurizers as well as the influence of technological conditions on the desulphurization were analysed.
