OPTIMIZATION OF SECONDARY COOLING SCHEME FOR SLAB CONTINUOUS CASTING

摘要: 应用二冷区铸坯表面温度测定和连铸坯硫印、低倍检验等方法,分析评价了攀钢板坯连铸现行二冷制度对铸坯内部质量的影响,并在此基础上优化完善了连铸二冷配水制度。结果表明,采用增大二次冷却强度、增加二冷段后区铸坯冷却能力的配水制度对减轻铸坯中心偏析、扩大铸坯等轴晶率、提高铸坯内部质量有明显效果,为进一步完善连铸二冷控制制度提供了坚实的技术基础。Abstract: Effects of the existing secondary cooling scheme on slab internal quality were evaluated based on strand temperature measurement at secondary cooling zones and macrostructure examination.Then,the secondary cooling scheme was optimized.The modified operation shows that the slab internal quality,particularly central segregation and equiaxed crystal ratio,is markedly improved by increasing the intensity of secondary cooling,particularly the secondary spray water in the lower part of the secondary cooling zones.The results have laid a foundation for further optimization of the secondary cooling scheme.
